Fry bacon in pot once most of the fat has rendered add Add onion and green pepper stir when colored Add beans stir add water to cover about 1 inch over beans Add garlic, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, chilli powder ( more if you like it spicy) By now the beans should be boiling ( if not turn up heat until they boil) Add salt & pepper stir Reduce heat cover and simmer for about 3 hours sauce should be thick
