*Note - I never measure the vinegar and oil; I use the markings in a Good Seasons cruet. Makes everything easier.
Mix the dry ingredients together well.
If you have a Good Seasons Cruet, fill it to the first line with vinegar; then add water to the second line. Add two tablespoons of the dry mix. Cover and shake well. Add the canola oil and shake again. ( I really recommend canola over olive oil. Olive oil gets too thick in the refrigerator.)
If you do not have the cruet, whisk altogether with 2 tablespoons of water.
Makes about 4 batches.
The original recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of salt, which is way too much. I'm not even sure you need a whole tablespoon. Experiment and see what you like!
