"Excellent, easy and delicious recipe! It was a big hit at our house last night. I served with pork chops and asparagus and will be making this often. I had to add about 15 minutes to the baking time, but I think it was because I started with cold potatoes. " - Beachbumette

This was so easy and so delicious! Good home cooking! I also added pancetta on top of the dish for added flavor and texture. I will DEFINITELY make this again .

Did add onions and sautéed them with the butter, 1/2 med onion. Also substituted the Velveta with extra sharp white cheddar and topped with extra sharp regular cheddar. My wife said she would never use her recipe again. This was the new go to.

Looks great! Just put it in the oven. Will leave more comments after we have it. Did not have velveeta cheese so I used all freshly grated extra sharpe cheddar. Can't wait until it's done!

This was amazing. My husband could not get enough! I added a little Rosemary, which gave it a little extra :) The thinner you cut the potatoes the better it will be. Thanks!

good dish, I think I made the sauce too thick which happened quickly. Next time I will watch it closely.

This is a really good sauce, I added about 1/2 cup of chopped onion into the butter and cooked until soft and then added the flour. I also added some chopped cooked bacon into the sauce just before pouring it over the potatoes!

This was great! I did use hashbrowns instead of sliced potatoes and I cooked them before I cooked it in the oven.. My entire family loved this!

Used Colby Jack instead of Velveeta and it was absolutely delicious. Kept the oven just under 350 and let it cook a little longer than the 35 recommended before uncovering.

The cheesy sauce was a big hit with all, most especially the four children. I doubled the recipe and needed almost double the cooking time.
