Suggest a better descriptionChop one onion into small (1/8") pieces Chop 2 cloves of garlic in small (1/8") pieces In a skillet put 1/4 cup olive oil and add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook at medium heat for 15min ans stir periodically Take a knife and cut a small cross at the bottom of the tomatoes; place them in boiling water for one minute and immediately place them in ice water. Peel the skin off starting from the cut cross on the bottom and chop them into small (1/4") pieces Once the tomatoes are chopped, add them to the skillet with the cooked onions and garlic. Season with salt, pepper to taste. Add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, fresh basil and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Cook on low heat for 19 minutes and then add a little Parmesan cheese. Start to cook the pasta al-dente. Then mix pasta and sauce and add more cheese and fresh basil. Voila!
