very easy recipe to use for first time jam makers.
If need to work in batches. makes 2 cups
1. peeled, halved, pitted, and cut peaches into chucks and put in the food processor or use a hand blander blend until chunky.
2. transfer to a small saucepan, an add sugar, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
3. continue to boil about 12 minutes continuing to stir until bubbles slow, foam subsides, fruit rise to the top , and the jam sticks to a spoon when lifted ups.
4. let cool in the jars completely before putting in the refrigerate. it keeps for 2 months
