This recipe is a family pleaser. Kids love breaded fish and adults love flavorful meals. This recipe masterfully combines both to give both kids and adults a reason to ask for more.
For best results, marinade for an hour before cooking.
• Mix the 4 tbsp of Morelos Cooking Sauce with the mayonnaise and lime juice until fully integrated. Season with salt to taste. Set aside.
• Wisk egg and Morelos sauce in a dish. Place the breadcrumbs in another dish. Sprinkle fish with salt. Coat each fillet with egg mixture, then breadcrumbs, covering completely on both sides.
• Heat oil in a heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, add fish to skillet. Sauté until crust is golden brown (if using sole or flounder, about 2 minutes per side). Add more oil if needed.
• Serve fillets with the Morelos-mayo on the side. Provecho!
