Begin by heating olive oil and 1/2 of butter in sauté pan on med heat. Add garlic then onions and slowly saute avoid browning. Add 1 pinch of Kosher Salt. Once onion mixture is softened add 1/2 the herbs to onion mixture. Mix throughly. Increase the heat to high; add ground turkey continue to saute so the onions do not brown. continue to brown, until turkey is cooked throughly. In the mean time. place frozen potatoes into microwave and cook per manufactures instructions. Once ground beef is cook through BUT NOT DRY, add parmesan, remove heat and let sit. boil carrots until slightly soft. In a casserole dish add a layer of carrots on the bottom of the pan. Next layer the ground turkey mixture. Prepare the mashed potatoes per manufacture instructions and then layer on top of the ground turkey. Sprinkle top with cheddar cheese blend of your choice. place in oven and broil on low for about 10 min or until desired crust. wait about 5 min before serving.
