Special Chefs Salad
Original recipe makes 6 Servings
| 1/2 cCarrots; Peeled & Shredded |
| 2 cLettuce; Bite Sized Pieces |
| 1/4 tsSalt |
| Strips, 1 cup |
| 1/2 cGreen Pepper; Chopped |
| 3 ozCream Cheese; Cubed, 1 Pk |
| 2 lgEggs; Hard Cooked, Chopped |
| 1 smOnion; Sliced |
| 1/2 tsGarlic salt |
| 2 cSpinach; Bite Sized Pieces |
| 1/4 cVinegar |
| 1/8 tsPepper |
| OIL AND VINEGAR DRESSING |
| 3/4 tsSugar |
| 1/2 cCucumber; Halved & Sliced |
| 1 tbKetchup |
| 1/2 lbCooked Ham; Cut Into 1/2" |
| 1/2 cVegetable oil |
Special Chefs Salad Preparation
Combine the lettuce, spinach, green pepper, carrots, cucumber, ham, cream cheese, eggs and onion in a large bowl; cover and refrigerate. Prepare the Oil And Vinegar Dressing; cover and refrigerate. OIL AND VINEGAR DRESSING: Combine all of the ingredients in a glass jar, cover and shake well. Makes 3/4 Cup. TO SERVE: Pour the dressing over the vegetables, toss gently to coat and serve.
