Mix cake mix, butter, and 2/3 cup carnation.
Pour half of batter into greased and floured 9x13 pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Melt Carmel's with 1/3 cup carnation in microwave.
Pour Carmel mixture over partially done cake.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over Carmel mixture.
Can add remaining milk to batter to make easier to spread.
Spread remaining batter over chips.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
