Original recipe makes 6
3/4 cupLong grain rice
1/2 teaspoonSalt
1 poundGround beef; or raw bulk sausage
1/2 teaspoonPepper
1 smallOnion; chopped
1/2 teaspoonGarlic powder
1/4 cupGreen pepper; chopped
1/4 cupHorseradish; prepared
1/4 cupCelery; chopped
1 tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce
1/4 cupGreen onion; chopped
1 canTomato soup
1 largeEgg
1 canWater
1 teaspoonDry mustard
1 teaspoonHot sauce; to taste

Spicy Rice Balls Preparation

Oven Temp: 350F / 180C / Gas Mark 4

Combine all ingredients except tomato soup, water and hot sauce. Mix together well.

Make balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place in baking dish.

Combine tomato soup, water and hot sauce and pour over meatballs.

Bake, covered for 1 hour.

Makes 30-36 small meatballs. Serve with toothpicks as hor doeuvres.
