| 1 cGrated Parmesan cheese |
| 1 Egg yolk |
| 4 ozCream cheese; room temperature |
| 2 tbgreen chilies; Diced |
| Vegetable oil; for frying |
| 50 Wonton wrappers |
Chili Cheese Wontons Preparation
Combine chilies, cheeses and egg yolk. Place 1 teaspoon of filling in center of each wonton wrapper; moisten edges with water, fold in half and press firmly to seal. In a deep fryer or Dutch oven, heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry wontons until lightly browned and drain on paper towels. Yield: about 50. Recipe from "Party Foods" (1995, California Cookbook Co.).
