"Great recipe! I didn't have everything the recipe called for so I used yellow, red and green bell peppers just to add color. The recipe was very easy to understand and follow. I let my 2yr old taste the meat prior to adding it to the peppers...she came back 3 more times with her plate asking for more! I can only imagine how great this will taste when I have all the ingredients called for in this recipe. I will definitely make this again. The only reason for 4 stars is because I didn't have everything needed. "

Good fresh marinade. The directions on how this dish is put together was hard to understand. I just tossed everything together and it came out good. Added black pepper for added seasoning.

The Marinade is the Soy Sauce, Dry Sherry, Sugar, Cornstarch and Water. I cut the onions in longitudinal strips. I marinated the meat for about 8 hours and the flavor was great.

My very picky husband loved it, and even our two year old ate it. I couldn't find sherry or ginger root so I used a dry white wine and powdered ginger, and I used sirloin steak. I served steamed broccoli as a side. I'm vegetarian so for me I substituted Gardein beef tips and it was really tasty. I will cook the peppers much longer next time, though, as they were still almost raw.

Loved this recipe. My husband said it was better than the Chinese restaurant. My 4 and 5 year olds loved it too. I chopped the peppers and made the meat bite size so it was easiest for the kids!

This was delicious! I too messed up the marinade because I ended up using the ginger in it, but I grated more and it was excellent! Leftovers were great too. I put some EVOO in a heated pan, geared the meat through, and tossed with noodles For a great variation!

Good recipe. Great use of flavours. Not that well written hence the average rating. Had to guess which ingredients made up the marinade.

We made this great dish last night and served it over Basmati rice. I used a reduced-sodium soy sauce, both red and green peppers, and substituted homemade beef stock for the water. The meat was tender, the dish was very tasty, and both quick and easy to prepare.
