"This worked very well and I love chocolate and bananas together. If you are thinking of making this, it seems to fill 6 fairly small ramekins - maybe 4.5 or 6 oz (mine are 10 oz and it filled 3)." - cajuntoastYield: 6 Ready in 45 minutes

Chocolate Creme Brulee with Caramelized Bananas Preparation
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Bring the milk and the cream mixed together to a boil. Add the chopped chocolate into the cream and milk mixture, set aside for 5 minutes. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with the granulated sugar.
While whipping the egg mixture, pour in the milk, cream and chocolate mixture.
Let cool. Fill six ungreased ramekins with equal amounts of the chocolate brulee mixture. Poach in a water bath in the oven for about 40 minutes.
When the creme brulees are poached, transfer them to a sheet pan and let cool. Decorate the top of each with 5 or 6 slices of bananas.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and broil the creme brulees under the broiler until the sugar melts and turns golden color. Yield: 6 servings Formatted by suechef~~at;sover.net Recipe by: Chocoholic Party HE1A25 Posted to MC-Recipe Digest V1 #883 by Sue ~~ltsuechef~~at;sover.net> on Nov 04, 1997
