Suggest a better descriptionBrown beef and sausage in a large pot. Pour out 1/2 dripping. Add onion and peppers. Cook with meat until onions are translucent and tender. Add Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, optional cayenne, salt and pepper. Do not leave garlic on to long because it burns quickly. Add drained beans, tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Bring chili to a boil then reduce heat and let simmer for 1 or more ours.
