Light side dish using fragrant basmati rice
In a sauce pan over medium heat butter, add onions cook until tender (3-5 minutes)
Rinse rice in water until water runs clear (removes starch).
Stir in rice, then add water and bring to a boil
Add cinnamon, clove, cardamon, green beans
Reduce to low simmer, cover cook until rice is tender, (12-17 minutes)
Remove from heat, remove cinnamon stick and clove.
Add saffron and fluff with fork and serve.
