1 tbButter, cut up in small
10 slCinnamon-raisin bread
4 Eggs
1/2 tsVanilla extract
1 cmilk
1 tsCinnamon

Cinnamon-Raisin French Toast Baked in the Oven Preparation

Grease a 10 x 15 inch jellyroll pan. Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla together in a bowl until slightly frothy. Take the bread slices and, one by one, dip each slice into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are well covered. Place bread in pan in one layer, making sure the bread doesnt overlap. If there is any egg mixture left, dribble it over bread in the pan. Top the bread with the butter. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 12 minutes or until toast has nice brown color. Tried this once before & it stuck badly to the pan, this time used 1 tbsp melted margarine & lots of Pam--success! Like other review I flipped bread & cooked another 5 minutes. Very good!
