Sprinkle chicken with salt and lemon juice. Cook in oil for 13-15 minutes. Remove and keep warm.
In same pan, saute bacon until cooked. Move to paper towels to drain. Reserve 2 tablespoons of drippings. Saute onions and brown sugar until onion is golden.
Place 2 bacon strips on each breast, top with onions and cheese.
Place smothered breasts in shallow baking pan and place under broiler to melt cheese.
