2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
3. Beat in flour, milk, salt and baking powder.
4. Fold in cranberries.
5. Spread butter in greased and floured bundt pan.
6. Bake on center oven rack for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
7. In small saucepan, heat all remaining ingredients until bubbly.
8. Add vanilla.
9. Serve warm over cake.
