Creamed Turkey
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 4
| 1/2 tsSalt |
| 1/4 cFlour |
| 1/4 cButter |
| 1 cnCream Of Chicken Soup |
| 1/4 cPimento; chopped |
| 2 tbOnion; chopped |
| 1 1/2 cTurkey; cooked & diced |
| 1 cHalf and half |
| 1 dashWhite Wine; Or Sherry |
| 1/8 tsPepper |
| 1 cChicken broth; Or Turkey Broth |
| 1/4 cGreen Bell Pepper; chopped |
| 1 4-oz canMushrooms; drained |
Creamed Turkey Preparation
Saute mushrooms, onion, and green pepper in butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Remove from heat. Slowly stir in broth and cream. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Add turkey and pimiento. Continue cooking until meat is heated. Serve hot with rice or in patty shells.
