Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1 lgTomato, thinly sliced
1/2 cMIRACLE WHIP or MIRACLE WHIP
3 cShredded lettuce
1 mdGreen pepper, thinly sliced
4 French Bread rolls, split
8 KRAFT American Singles
1/4 cKRAFT House Italian Dressing
1 pkOSCAR MAYER All-American Sub

Creamy Italian Sub Sandwich Preparation

Mix dressing and Italian dressing. Toss lettuce with 1/4 cup of the dressing mixture. Brush cut surfaces of rolls with remaining dressing mixture. Fill rolls with meat, process cheese food, vegetables and lettuce mixture. Makes 4 sandwiches. From Tuscon area newspapers, 1994, 3rd quarter, courtest Mike Orchekowski.
