Crispy Candy Bars Preparation
1. Coat a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with nonstick vegetable-oil cooking spray. 2. Melt the margarine in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the marshmallows; stir until the marshmallows are completely melted. Remove the saucepan from the heat. 3. Add rice cereal and candy to saucepan; stir until well coated. 4. using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. When cool, cut into 24 bars. Nutrient Value Per Bar: 104 calories, 2 g protein, 4 g fat, 16 g carbohydrate, 46 mg sodium, 0 mg cholesterol. Exchanges: 1/2 starch/bread, 2/3 fruit, 1/3 fat.
