Original recipe makes 12 Servings
1 lgEgg
1/2 cQuick-cooking oats; uncooked
1/2 cShredded coconut
1 cMargarine or butter;
1 tsCream of tartar
1/2 tsBaking soda
2 cAll-purpose flour
1/4 tsSalt
1 cToasted rice cereal
1/2 cFirmly packed light brown
1/2 cCoarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cGranulated sugar

Crispy Oat Drops Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in egg. In medium bowl combine flour, oats, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; blend flour mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in "M&Ms"rSemi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, cereal, coconut and pecans. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until lightly browned.Cool completely on wire racks. Store in tightly covered container.
