"I have been meaning to try this one since no one posted anything about it. I followed the receipt because I liked the idea of a lot of spices in my Chili. I also added fresh Basil from my herb garden but in the end it still didn't have enough kick for me. On the other hand my wife (who can't take the heat) loved it, so I will be making it again. I uploaded pictures of it in my crockpot and also my presentation. I made Chili Fries and used a Tortilla Shell as the bowl, topped with some grated cheddar cheese."

1/2 cBeef stock
1 8-oz canTomato paste
3 tbShortening
4 tbChili powder
3 Beef bouillon cubes; crushed
4 lbGround beef
4 1-poundRed kidney beans
1 tsOregano
1 28-oz canTomatoes
2 cOnions; chopped
1 tsGround cumin
1/2 tsCayenne pepper
1 1/2 tsPaprika
2 Garlic; crushed

Crockpot Chili Con Carne Preparation

Heat shortening in skillet and brown beef, discard fat, Combine all ingredients in removable liner, stirring well. Place liner in base. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours; high 4-5 hours or auto 6-7 hours
