"I made this without the olives and found it to be an easy, good meal. I put the tortilla chips at the bottom of each bowl and spooned the soup over it. This gave it a great texture. From: Judy L Garrison Date: Thu, 11 Jul 1996 21:38:01 PST Place everything in a large crockpot, add water, if necessary, to fill. Cook on LOW for 5 or more hours until flavors are blended. My boyfriend enjoyed it. He actually put it in a taco shell and ate it that way

I made this in a dutch oven on the grill (times drastically reduced of course) and it turned out very good. I substituted 1 lb of beef tenderloin cubed for the ground beef and an aji salsa for the green bell pepper. Also added 1 cup of beef stock.
