ajhainstock ,I've been making this exact recipe for 5 years and my parents have been since I was a little kid, only thing I do different is instead of butter I store my bacon grease and use that instead makes for w very savoury biscuit. And with stews or chili I ad a cup of fine shredded sharp cheddar cheese. And taste great cold with butter and jam/jelly7y

jmhend0 ,This was a great recipe. We used a cup and a half of Brummel & Brown non fat yogurt vegetable oil spread instead of butter or margerine. Dough consistency may be slightly different.11y
