1/2 cRolled oats; (Quaker Oats)
3/4 cWater
1/2 cOat bran
4 tbGluten; (optional for a lighter, higer loaf add 3 t extra water if you add the gluten)
2 tbMolasses
1 tbCaraway seeds
1 tbUnsweetened cocoa
1 tsSalt
1 pkYeast
2 tbVegetable oil
1 tbAnise seeds
1 1/4 cwhite bread flour
3/4 cRye flour
2 Egg whites; or 1 egg

Set breadmakers browning control to light. Put all the ingredients into pan in the order listed, select "Oat/French" and push "Start."
