1/4 tsGround nutmeg
1 cSugar
1 tsVanilla extract
1/2 tsGround cinnamon
1 tsBaking Powder
2 tsLemon juice
2 lgEggs
1/4 tsSalt
2 tbButter; or margarine, melted
5 lgGranny smith apples,
2 tbSugar
1 cAll-purpose flour

Deep Dish Q-Fest Apple Cobbler Preparation

COMBINE first 5 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring to coat apple slices; pour into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. BEAT eggs and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended. Add butter and vanilla, beating until smooth. COMBINE flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into egg mixture. Spread over apple slices. BAKE at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Posted to bbq-digest by Jim Anderson on May 30, 1998
