Deep-South Cornbread Preparation

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk just until dry ingredients are moistened. Add oil to batter, stirring well. Heat greased 8 inch cast-iron skillet unitl very hot, pour in batter, then bake at 425 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
