Original recipe makes 4 Servings
1/4 cChopped green peppers
1 smCan mushrooms
1 cn(8 oz.) crescent rolls
1/4 tsGarlic salt
1/3 cOnions; chopped
2 cShredded Cheddar cheese; or
1 cn(8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 Egg; slightly beaten
1 cn(8 oz.) green beans
1 1/4 lbGround beef
1/4 tsCumin seed

Depression Pie (Meat Pie) Preparation

Brown and drain ground beef, onions, peppers. Add spices and mushrooms, green beans, tomato sauce. Separate rolls and place in deep dish pie pan. Combine eggs and 1/2 the cheese. Spread over crust and spoon hot mix into crust top with 1 cup of cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with tossed salad.
