BRINE
1 1/2 cWater
4 Headsfresh dill
1/2 cCider vinegar
1 qtfresh cucumbers; Small
2 tbPlain salt; (non-iodized)
2 Garlic

Dill Pickles By the Jar Preparation

Combine vinegar, water and salt, bring to boil. Remove stem and blossom ends from cucumbers, wash well. Prick with fork. Place dill and garlic in jar, pack in cucumbers. Pour boiling brine over to cover. Wipe jar rims and seal. Allow 2 weeks minimum for pickles to cure before using. Just made these this morning and they are super easy! I only rated them 4 stars because I haven't tasted them yet. I'm sure they are delicious but have to wait a couple weeks. I'm planning on making more - perfect for hubby and me!
