Easy Cheesy Sloppy Joes Preparation

Brown about a lb. of grounded beef. Add about 1/2 cup of catsup and let simmer a few minutes. Add about four slices of American cheese and let cook until melted. Serve over hamburger buns. You may add a little mustard, garlic, and/or onion for a slightly spicer taste. Recipe By : Maryharvey File ftp://ftp.idiscover.co.uk/pub/food/mealmaster/recipes/mmdja006.zip

I fried 1 large diced onion and 3 cloves of finely diced garlic in a 1/4 teaspoon of oil for 2 minutes on medium heat, then I added the ground beef and cooked it for 5 minutes more until brown. ( I did not use catsup ) instead I added 1 can ( 410 grams ) of chopped tomatoes and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Just before serving I added 5 slices of cheddar cheese to melt through.
