We have also tried this with nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread), FYI, not the best, but all other jams and other sweet toppings seem to work great (my favorite is Lemon Curd, sort of like lemon meringue pie filling)." - melarky

1/4 cjam, raspberry
2 cBisquick baking mix
2/3 cmilk
1/4 cMargarine; softened
2 tbSugar

Easy Drop Danish Preparation

1. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and preheat oven to 340 degress. 2. Mix baking mix, margarine and sugar until crumbly. 3. Stir in milk until dough forms; beat 15 strokes. 4. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. 5. Make a shallow well in center of each with the back of a spoon; fill with 1 tsp raspberry jam. 6. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. NOTES : You can sprinkle these with icing sugar or drizzle with honey of a glaza made of 2/3 cup icing sugar, 1 Tbsp warm water and 1/4 tsp. vanilla. 146 calories; 6.9 gram of fat per danish.
