"This is a great easy to make dish - quite simple to make substitutions and use whatever you have available. I never make it with a can of cheese - I simply toss in some shredded cheese before the bisquick. I added some chopped onions in with the broccoli for more flavor - but thats just personal preference. I've also made it with chicken, just as amazing! My husband is picky, and he asks me to make it often!"

Made it as is, but instead of onion powder I chopped a small onion. However the onions were still crunchy so I may use onion powder next time. Also going to substitute cream of chicken for the mushroom. Not the healthiest, but straight up soul food

I love how versatile this recipe is. I think I'll try some summer squash out of the garden next time!

I grabbed this recipe to use up my leftover ham at Easter. Was a big hit! I've also made with cut up chicken and tastes just as good too.

Recipe was bland when cooked as stated. Had to add salt & pepper to tolerate. Cooked an extra 5 minutes, and bisquick mixture was still gooey on bottom.

This was really good, I made a few substitutions based on what I had on hand. I used two cans of cream of mushroom and added about a cup of shredded cheese and used peas and carrots instead of broccoli. It was delish!

Made this tonight and was super yummy!!! Kids loved it. Will definitely be making it again. I added extra shredded cheddar cheese and will be putting more Bisquick mix on top next time.

Very quick and easy dinner! My BF requested more crust on top next time, which is an easy adjustment with bisquick. Might get creative with some additional veggies too!

I had some leftover ham and used the Idea Wizard to find this recipe. It was easy and inexpensive, and although I do not think I could give a Bisquick recipe 5 stars, it was worth 4.
