"My sister in-law gave me this recipe several weeks ago. I finally had time to visit the Big Oven site, find the recipe, and provide some feedback. This recipe is great as originally posted however, the second time I made it I doubled the recipe and stirred in about 1 cup of cubed Velveeta and placed approximately 8 strips of bacon on the top to cook during the last 30 minutes of baking. We prefer the paprika. " - PatY

4 mediumPeeled and sliced potatoes
1 tablespoonFlour
1 teaspoonSalt
1/3 cupFinely chopped onions
1 1/2 cupsMilk
1 tablespoonButter
Paprika or parsley

Easy Scalloped Potatoes Preparation

In a 2-1/2 quart glass buttered casserole, arrange sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with flour, salt and onion and mix lightly. Stir in milk and dot with butter. Cook covered 15 - 18 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes. Rest covered 5 minutes. Garnish with paprika or parsley. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top after cooking. I did it without flour and used heavy whipping cream instead of milk, baked on 350 for about 50 min

These were good but next time i will add garlic powder. I felt they were a little bland.

I did great until I had to turn the oven on....no temp!! I just guessed at *350, hopefully my result is good!! Putting in the oven now :)

Thought this was excellent. Although a little salty for our family. Will reduce salt by 50% next time. Also melted cheese topping in oven to finish.

I really liked this recipe...and so did my husband. I didn't use the onions because he doen't like them at all, but he really liked this recipe.

Returned to the oven with chedder cheese to melt. Took longer to cook because of the overlaped potatoes. (Only got one long dish)
