Easy Turkey Noodle Casserole Preparation
In a 1 1/2 qt casserole, combine soup and milk. Stir in the noodles, peas, red pepper and turkey. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 25 minutes or until hot; stir. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, stir bread crumbs in hot butter until lightly browned. Top casserole with the crumbs, then bake 5 minutes more. It didn't turn out like I thought, but it wasn't bad. I substituted canned green beans for the peas, and cheddar fried onions for bread crumbs, and added salt and pepper to taste.
The recipe really needs something to to hold it all together.

While an easy recipe to use turkey leftovers with, this casserole turned out mild and unremarkable in taste. If you are on a bland diet then I suppose this recipe is for you, but anyone else might want to try adding something to it for a little flavor and/or texture. Celery and maybe a splash of white onion might have helped. I used cream of mushroom soup - perhaps another flavor might liven it up a bit.
