Eggy Bread Preparation

Whisk together the eggs, milk (if required), sauce, salt and pepper. Cut the slices of bread into quarters. Soak each piece of bread in the egg mixture and coat well. Heat a little butter in a large frying pan, and fry the soaked bread until golden brown, turning over once. Any spare egg mixture should be poured over the bread as it is fried. Serve with crisply fried bacon for breakfast, or as a snack. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V3 #246 Date: Mon, 9 Sep 1996 18:08:57 +0000 From: "ray.watson"
