Easy slow cooker recipe for chicken thighs in a sauce made with soy sauce, ketchup, and honey (Splenda Brown Sugar for reduced sugar content)
Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker.
Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, sugar (or 1/3 c. honey), garlic, vinegar and basil together in a bowl. Pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 5 hours.
I used double the sauce recipe. This recipe is delicious! Vinegar wasn't in the original recipe, but added a tang. Can use more or less.
