Ingredients
| 1 tsChili powder |
| 1 cn(5-oz) cooked chicken |
| 1/4 tsSalt |
| Crust |
| 2/3 cChopped toasted walnuts |
| 2 tbOnion; minced |
| FILLING |
| 1/2 tsChili powder |
| 2 cFlour |
| 4 tbCold water (or more) |
| 2 tbChopped green chiles |
| 1 tsSeasoned salt |
| 2/3 cShortening |
| 1/2 cMayonnaise |
Empanaditas Preparation
Combine crust ingredients & roll thin, cut into 1-1/2 to 2-inch circles. Put 1/2 teaspoon of filling mixture on each, fold in half & seal edges with a fork. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 10-12 minutes at 450 degrees. May be frozen before or after baking. If frozen uncooked, increase baking time. MRS JOHN M (ALICE) CRICKNER From the
