Suggest a better descriptionCrust: Preheat oven to 425. Roll pie crust into 13: circle on a lightly floured surface. Fit into a 9" pie plate; fold edges under and crimp. Prick bottom and sides with a fork. Line with parchment paper; fill with pie weights or dried beans. Bake 9 mins. Remove weights and paper.
Whisk together egg yolk and cream; brush bottom and sides of crust with mixture. Bake 6-8 more mins until golden. Transfer to cooling rack. Reduce oven to 350.
Filling: Stir together melted butter, 1 cup sugar, and next 2 ingredients in a large bowl until mixture is well blended. Add sweet potatoes and next 4 ingredients; stir until mixture is well blended. Pour sweet potato mixture into pie crust. Bake 50-55 mins or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, shielding with aluminum foil. Place pie on cooling rack for about 1 hour.
Meringue: Beat egg whites and next 2 ingredients on high until foamy. Gradually add sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time, beating until stiff peaks form. Beat 1/4 marshmallow creme into egg white mixture; repeat 3 times with remaining marshmallow creme until smooth. Spread over pie. Bake at 400 for 6-7 until meringue is lightly browned.
