Extra-Easy Lasagna

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Pasta

Common pantry ingredients like spaghetti sauce and lasagna noodles come together to make an extra easy lasagna.

"I always wanted to try cooking lasagna so I picked this one for my first attempt as it seemed very simple. And simple it was. Very easy to prepare especially since you just add store bought spaghetti sauce. Now I guess I'm ready to try a more complicated lasagna recipe where I would also prepare the sauce from scratch.
Taste and consistency was good, although it was clearly flavored with the store bought sauce.
I did add a sprinkling of shredded Parmesan cheese on top which I think added that extra flavor and would recommend adding same to yours.

Really yummy. Will half the hamburger next time. Gluten-free no bake noodles worked perfectly.

I used about 1/2 the ricotta cheese b/c my husband and I aren't HUGE ricotta fans. I added salt, pepper, a little onion powder, and a couple dashes of dried onion to the ground beef. This recipe was absolutely amazing and SOOOO easy! Tasted like olive garden lasagna! This is a staple meal for my family!!!

Great taste and so easy to prepare. Next time I will add an extra cup of sauce - it seemed a bit dry.

Great recipe, it's quick and versatile and when you're feeding a husband and 2 year old its hard to beat. It's also if anything just one or two ingredients away from being pantry ready.

While I loved the simplicity of this dish and the idea of using the uncooked noodles, I did think it lacked flavor. I think some seasoning added to the sauce, such as sugar, oregano, crushed red pepper, etc. would liven up the jarred sauce. I would also add some parsley, salt and pepper to the cheese mixture. I may try it again and 'dress it up a little'. :)

Uncooked noodles? Are they the regular ones or the no boil?
