Suggest a better descriptionCream butter, continue creaming while adding honey in a fine stream. Add egg and beat well, then add orange peel. Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt and sift together again. Add flour alternately with orange juice, a small amount at a time to first mixture, beating after each addition until smooth. Stir in nuts, blend well. Pour into 9 x 5 x 3" lined with waxed paper, and greased, loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 325 (slow) degrees or until done. Let cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn out of pan, let stand until cold. Wrap in waxed paper or aluminum foil. Store overnight to blend flavors and for easy slicing. Makes 1 loaf. This bread is delicious, although it is hard not to cut into it until the next day!
