Original recipe makes 1 Servings
1 cSugar
1/3 cWater
BATTER
1 1/2 cFlour
1/4 tsGround cinnamon
2 tsBaking Powder
1 cSugar
1 dsSalt
1/3 cShortening
1 Egg
1/2 tsSalt
1/2 Orange extract
5 cPeeled and sliced peaches
3 tbAll purpose flour
1 tsVanilla

Fresh Peach Cobbler Preparation

Stir together gently. Put in a 9x13 pan that has been greased with margarine. Cover with batter. Batter: Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in shortening, sugar, egg, water, vanilla, & orange extract alternately with flour, baking powder, salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Good served with French Vanilla ice cream.
