Here ya go Lynn...I havent tried it yet, but I do love fried pickles! And this recipe sounds like it has all the ingredients of the ones I have had....it esp needs the pepper spices and tabasco.. Cut the dill pickles in slices bout as thick as a silver dollar. Mix the remaining ingredients to form the batter. Dip the pickle slices in batter and quickly fry in grease at 375 degrees F until the pickles float to the top, around 4 minutes. Wash em down with your favorite beer. LavenderWand 5 months agoI knew better than to use a recipe that clearly noted the poster didn't try it out yet. It needed a LOT OF TWEAKING...but I liked the idea of a beer batter. To sum it up, use less of ALL spicy ingredients and add more beer.
