Praline Chicken
Ingredients
| 1 tbCreole seasoning | |
| 1 cChopped pecans; toasted | |
| 1/3 cMaple syrup | |
| 1/4 cButter; melted | |
| 2 tbBrown sugar | |
| 6 Skinned and boneless chicken | |
| 1 tbVegetable oil |
Praline Chicken Preparation
Sprinkle Creole seasoning on both sides of the chicken. Cook chicken in butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until done. Remove chicken, reserving drippings in skillet. Place chicken on a serving platter; ste aside and keep warm. Add maple syrup and sugar to drippings in skillet; bring to a boil. Stir in pecans and cook 1 minute or until throughly heated. Spoon pecan mixture over chicken. Chicken mixture can be served over rice.
