Pita Bread
Paprika
1 1/2 tbFresh Lemon Juice
2 15-oz cansChick-peas; drained
1/2 tsSalt
2 lg clovesGarlic; crushed
2 tbExtra-Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cTahini; (sesame seed paste)
Chopped parsley

Garlicky Hummus Preparation

1. In a food processor, combine chick-peas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Puree until smooth. If made in advance, transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate. 2. Before serving, top with chopped parsley, and a dusting of paprika. Serve with pita bread.

Initial recipe was a bit bland for our taste; I added extra lemon juice, garlic olive oil and salt. The extra oil was needed to achieve a nice silky texture.
