dsPaprika
2 cAmerican cheese; shredded
1/2 tsSalt
2 cShrimp; peel, cook, devein
dsBlack pepper
5 slBread; cut in 1/2" cubes
3 Eggs; beaten
2 cmilk
1/4 cButter; (or marg.); melted
1/2 cMushrooms; sliced

Golden Shrimp Casserole Preparation

Brown bread cubes in butter; remove from skillet and set aside. Cook mushrooms in butter for about 10 minutes. In a buttered 1-1/2quart casserole dish, alternate layers of bread cubes, mushrooms, shrimp, and cheese. Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over layers. Place casserole dish in a pan of hot water, and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. SOURCE: Southern Living Magazine, June, 1974. Typed for you by Nancy Coleman.
