"If I were to make this again, I might marinade the shrimp in olive oil, but I would replace some of the olive oil with butter while cooking. It also needs some lemon, and some finely shredded parmesan cheese. Best with lots of garlic pushed through a garlic press. Tossed ours with Fettuccine." - Sherri

Great Shrimp Scampi Preparation

Peel large shrimp and marinate, for 1 hour, in olive oil, garlic, salt, and parsley. Try a pinch or two of chili powder. Quickly pan-fry. I use an Electric Wok at 350 degrees, I use lots of garlic, and I use Garlic salt in- stead of regular salt. I add cooked linguine or pasta (al dente), toss well to coat the pasta and sprinkle with a little more parsley and serve. Its fast and very easy and really delicious. Please let me know if you try it and if you like it or not!!! Bunny Cherish Kaplan (gkfm11a) Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V3 #325 Date: Tue, 26 Nov 1996 22:37:55 -0500 From: BobbieB1@aol.com

I also made something similar. Also used parmesan cheese. Cooked fresh minced garlic in little olive oil, add chicken broth, little lemon flavored white cooking wine and a can of tiny shrimp with juice. Toss with angel hair pasta and dried thyme. Sprinkle with cheese and more parsley. My boyfriend loved it.
