Green Beans and Colored Butter Beans Preparation

Pick, snap and wash green beans and pick, shell and wash butter beans. When ready for the pot, add the water, fat back, and sugar. Start boiling with top off until they have boiled about 5 minutes. Turn down to low heat. Put on lid and boil for about 30 to 45 minutes and check if done. Turn off if done and dish up and serve. Very Good. Posted to recipelu-digest by "Diane Geary" on Feb 27, 1998
