| 1 Leaflettuce; optional |
| 1 4-inchPortabella mushroom |
| 1 Wholegrain bun; split and |
| 1 thin sliceBBQ sauce; or Teriyaki sauce or Taco sauce |
| 1 Thin slicetomato; optional |
| Vegetarian Worcestershire |
Grilled Portabella "Burger" Preparation
Clean Portabella and remove stem. Baste with Worcesteshire and grill over flame or coals, or in 400-450 degree oven approximately 25 minutes, turning and rebasting after 15 minutes. During last 5 minutes, melt cheese atop mushroom. Place on toasted bun and add condiments and additional toppings, if desired. I also have been using chopped Portabellas to replace meat in things like sloppy joes, spaghetti sauce, lasagna, etc. Posted to Digest eat-lf.v096.n182 From: Gretchen Gregory
