"Very good!I made a few variations. First, I used Greek Yogurt instead of plain (American) yogurt. Greek yogurt is available in many larger markets, and is generally thicker (the consistency of sour cream) and richer.
I also didn't broil it -- I instead used a rotisserie attachment on our grill to make the gyros loaf. It took about 1 1/2 hours to cook all the way, up to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. (I put the loaf into the fridge, wrapped in plastic, before putting it on the rotisserie.)" - stevemur

About two thirds of the way through cooking. Be sure to check the internal temperature, and pull it off when it reaches about 160F.
